Play ‘N’ Learn is a Reggio Emilia-inspired active edu fun destination where kids are free to embrace their unique learning styles, wonder and explore in a safe and welcoming environment. Our play areas are designed to encourage learning and healthy physical development through play.

We recognize each kid’s learning style is different and it makes them unique. This is why we build personalised ‘smarts profiles’ for each kid utilising the MIDAS tool, an aptitude assessment, which indicates an area of intelligence or learning style that the child naturally gravitates towards. MIDAS, which stands for Multiple Intelligences Developmental Assessment Scales, measures 8 different ‘smarts’ or learning styles.

BODY SMART

Kids with high kinaesthetic intelligence and use body in skilled and meaningful ways for expressive and goal-directed activities.  

WORD SMART


Kids who display ability in words and use language to express and understand complex meanings.  

 

SELF SMART

Kids who have excellent self-awareness and understand oneself

PICTURE SMART

Kids who visualize in pictures and organize information in visual forms.  

LOGIC SMART

Kids who are strong in cause-and-effect connections, and understand relationships of actions, objects or ideas  

NATURE SMART

Kids who enjoy the natural world including plants, animals, and scientific studies.   

PEOPLE SMART

Kids who have strong interpersonal skills and understand others.   

MUSIC SMART

Kids who are motivated by sounds, rhythms, melodies and rhymes.   

Our activities integrate the Reggio Emilia approach to inspire kids to explore different ways to develop the eight kinds of ‘smarts’ and utilize STEAM concept to impart the knowledge they can use in everyday life.

 

SCIENCE comes into play in rich sensory experiences that stimulate your kid’s curiosity and encourages experimentation and discovery of how things work.

TECHNOLOGY means using simple machines to interact with light and shadows and explore the concept of motion and movements through shadow play. 

ENGINEERING skills are developed by building a stable structure with building blocks and learning how to balance and build it strong and sturdy. 

ART is a creative gateway for kids to communicate their thoughts and feelings about the world. They play with colours exploring textures and light to create their own masterpieces. 

MATH concepts are introduced as they create patterns on light tables, counting, sorting and grouping things together. 

Here in Play ‘N’ Learn, children experience an unconventional way of learning, that is by playing.
